Clinical Training Opportunities at Pasadena Clinical Group
Pasadena Clinical Group is committed to training the next generation of couples and relationship therapists. We offer structured practicum and internship placements for graduate students pursuing careers in psychology, marriage and family therapy, and clinical social work.
What We Offer Trainees
Clinical Supervision
Weekly individual and group supervision from licensed clinicians specializing in couples and relational therapy. All supervision counts toward licensure requirements.
Diverse Caseload
Exposure to a wide range of presenting concerns including communication difficulties, infidelity, intimacy issues, blended family challenges, and premarital counseling.
Professional Development
Training in evidence-based modalities, clinical documentation, treatment planning, ethical practice, and multiculturally responsive care.
Supportive Environment
A collaborative team culture that values learning, self-reflection, and personal growth alongside clinical skill development.
Eligibility Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited graduate program in psychology, MFT, or clinical social work
- Completion of foundational coursework in psychotherapy, ethics, and diversity
- Genuine interest in couples and relational therapy
- Ability to commit to the full training year (September through August)
- Openness to feedback, self-reflection, and professional growth
